It was a great pleasure to welcome Dafydd Iwan to the school today. He spent the afternoon looking at the work about him that some pupils have been doing, answering some of the pupil's questions, and of course entertaining us with some of his famous songs. A huge thank you to him for visiting us, the pupils (and staff) were overjoyed 🎵🏴
The year 3 and 4 pupils had fun in their Bright Sparks sessions this week, doing various experiments and developing their STEM skills.
The Class 13 pupils have had a lot of fun working with Wild Elements over the past few weeks. A big thank you to them for coming in.

It was a pleasure to be part of composing a verse about the Holyhead Breakwater with Osian from the band Candelas and Joseff from the group Y Cledrau. The verse will be part of a song by the catchment area's schools. 🎵🏴
Food Standards Agency Wales arranged a show and workshop about food hygiene this week. The pupils had lots of fun watching the Miri'r Mor-ladron a'r Ffa Ffiaidd show, before learning about food hygiene in the workshop that followed.
It was a great pleasure to welcome the author Gemma Keir from 'The Abilities In Me Foundation' to the school today. The message that was shared by her was so valuable to our pupils. Thank you so much for visiting us, and we are looking forward to reading your books 🌈❤️
